The class exhibition showcases an array ofworks completed by the Club’s members on site at the First Baptist Church, thesite of the Club’s temporary classroom. The Church has graciously hosted ArtClub classes during the Club’s renovation. In exchange for their generosity, aportion of proceeds from ‘Inspired Art’ sales will be donated to the Church.This ‘ethereal’ exhibition is sure to inspire.
The Providence Art Club is pleased to announce a show of its exhibiting artist members. Encompassing a wide range of media and subject matter, this exhibition will highlight the talent of the Club’s new and established artist members. Kathleen Hancock, gallery director of the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery in Fall River, will be the awards juror for this exhibition.

Rev. Bill Comeau and Allen Russell Hallë: Good News Art
In "Good News Art," Rev. Bill Comeau and Allen Hallë bring together a collection of vibrant oils and acrylics. Rev. Comeau’s multi-media works incorporate a series of found objects, acquired during his travels to New Mexico. For him, the creation of art from what others discarded as trash represents a spiritual journey, in which beauty is found in unlikely places. Complementing these works are Allen Hallë's vivid oils. His works explore variations in size, shape and form to create a series of dreamy, surrealistic landscapes.
